When someone writes you a check, when you cash it, is the giver of the check notified?

When you cash a check given to you, does your transaction show up on the giver's record or is the giver notified? In other words, will the giver ever know that you cashed the check and if so, will they know when you cashed the check?

Thank you!

The only indication that the payer will get that that you cashed the check is when the debit shows up on his account balance. The check number, date the check cleared, and amount of the check all appear on the checking account statement.
Reply:they wont kno when u did. but they will kno u did becuz the amount of money in there account got lower.
Reply:Yes it will show up on their monthly statement
Reply:they will get their bank statement and if cashed then it will how up on their statement with the check number and amount
Reply:Banks commonly send the payer a facsimile of all the checks he/she writes each month. So they would be generally notified at the end of the fiscal month in which the check was cashed.
Reply:Well normally the person is not notified instantly, unless he had requested the bank for any particular reason. But It will show up on his monthly statement as well as online statement after 12 pm of that particular day.
