How much will cash converters give me for my laptop?

I have a laptop which I have owned from April 07. I would like to do the buy back scheme (They buy your item and you buy it back in 28days) at cash converters but I was wondering if anyone has done the scheme and how much they got for their laptop.

How much will cash converters give me for my laptop?
Cash Converters are thieving gypsies. It's best to sell it privately. Try ebay or take an ad out.

It is up to Cash Converters who will take into consideration the following:

*Specification of Laptop

*Age of laptop

*Condition of Laptop

Then they will give you a tailored amount of money based on their decision...

Good Luck ! though you will get a poor amount - just be sure if you want it back you will be able to pay for it !
Reply:Not to answer your question with a question, but what is the purpose of "cash converters?"

Anyway I would like to do the same thing I think. I have a laptop worth about $600, and am low on cash at the moment.
Reply:I took mine in before Christmas as I was given a work one and it was the quickest way to get cash for mine - first of all they complained it wasnt charged, then they ummed and ahhhed and then offered £100 for it! With the option to buy back at £160! I had brought it eight months before for £500 so I declined and sold it privately - for £390!
Reply:It all depends if you just want a quick loan , you will be able to ask for what you want up to a vaule that they consider the max.

The more you borrow , the more you pay back

Cash converters is not the place to sell , you will not get what it is worth
